- April 16th & 17th at Lutheran Church of the Reformation in Washington DC
- April 29th & 30th at Eglise de St. Sulpice in Paris, France
- May 20th at Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center, New York, NY
My goal is to raise $1800 before we leave for Paris on April 24th. My airfare is covered but I must raise additional funds in order to attend these concerts and experience the biggest solo opportunity of my career thus far. The money collected will go towards lodging expenses, a formal gown for the concerts, and daily costs like food and local transportation. It will cover 11 days and nights (total) in two of the most expensive cities in the world! Any extra that comes in after I reach my goal will be given to my other friends on this tour who need it.
In August I will present a recital and a reception to thank all those who have supported me in my career. The program will consist of songs, arias, duets, and excerpts from Paul Leavitt\'s Requiem.
This is a dream come true for me. I cannot tell you how excited I am about what the next year will be like because of this opportunity. I am really humbled to be a part of this work\'s premiers.
For clips of the work, information about the composer and his choir, and an email address to purchase the premier recording of Paul Leavitt\'s Requiem (featuring yours truly), please visit http://www.reformationdc.org/MUSIC&ARTS.html
The concerts are being held in conjunction with the New York City Master Chorale (www.nycmasterchorale.org)
