Erica's Journey For Healing

Donation protected
Hi everyone, my name is Erica Clark. I am a 52-year-old Mother of two (2) and Grandmother of three (3). I am a Family Services Worker for a Head Start Program, and a United States Air Force Veteran. Three (3) years ago I began a transition into "Vegetarianism”, trying to become a healthier person using Holistic measures. The more I researched, the more I realized that this was a great path for me.

On April 16, 2015, I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. I had a lumpectomy on May 1, 2015, and my
Oncologist recommended Chemotherapy and Radiation. He also recommended removing both my
breasts and ovaries. He was concerned that the type of cancer I had (a dangerous "triple-negative" type), was "ugly" and fast spreading.

Initially, I decided that chemotherapy and radiation were not for me, and chose to remain vigilant on my holistic journey. In August, I became very frightened, as the doctors kept emphasizing that I could live if I got chemotherapy and radiation. I gave in. I had Chemotherapy on August 20, 2015, and to say that I did not do well would be an extreme understatement.

I began to feel
sick even before I left the treatment center. For the first two weeks, all I could do was roll out of the bed to the bathroom and then crawl back into bed. I had no strength or energy, and my immune system was severely weakened. I lost my hair and my mind. I was not able to work. It took me more than a month to recover from just one treatment. Long story short, I thought I was going to die, and at that time I really wanted to. I was due for another chemo session in three weeks but I was not well enough to endure it, so I chose to return to my holistic routine.

Unfortunately, my tumor has returned, and I am scheduled for a Mastectomy on April 19, 2016 (this is my oldest granddaughter's birthday). I will be
out for at least two to four (2-4) weeks, depending on my recovery. In addition, I have decided to be seen at a Cancer Treatment Center after recovering from my surgery, to aid in my attempt to beat this once and for all.

As far as covering the cost of my treatment, I only have VA
insurance and as you have all seen in the news, things are very slow in this system. I am first asking for prayers and well wishes, in addition to financial donations. I am in need of financial assistance to be seen at the Cancer Treatment Center, as well as to continue living my now "Vegan" lifestyle. I know that in my journey, I need to be an example of what God can and will do for those who are obedient and live according to His will.

I would like to thank all in advance, who will donate to my cause and any assistance you can provide will
be greatly appreciated. I know the journey will be trying and a test, but with your love, support and
prayers , it will be a TESTIMONY.
Peace and Blessings to All. ❤️❤️❤️
