Eric Abert needs your help

Donation protected
Who:
Eric Abert is a Collinsville, IL native that has been living in Chicago for the last 8 years. He has been the bass player for The Life and Times for the last 13 years and currently bartends at Longman & Eagle.

This man spends a lot of time on his feet, and has found himself with a broken one (and a broken leg).

What Happened:
During the Chicago snow storm on 2/10, Eric was cleaning off the car to get him and I home. He slipped off the curb, thinking he rolled his ankle.

After toughing it out for a couple days, he went and got it diagnosed: A Maisonneuve fracture resulting in a broken ankle and broken fibula.

The unfortunate part: Eric's open enrollment for insurance begins next month. Yeah. In the meantime, he is being treated with a cast for the next 3 months. His doctor has informed us that there may be complications down the road, but for now we are optimistic. Either way, he will be out of work- both behind the bar and on stage/on tour- for at least 12 weeks. We gotta get this guy back on his feet.

Rest assured, Eric will be signed up for insurance very soon. In the meantime, he will need a little help paying for medical bills, personal bills and living expenses. He is eager to get back to work and is hopeful he can make the tour this spring with the band.
