Erica Thomas Queen City ENT Memorial Fund

On March 6, 2022, our practice lost Erica Thomas to a senseless tragedy that has left her two children, Braxton and Kendall, without a parent who was a source of endless love and understanding they could rely upon. She was a single mom who was a beautiful, caring, selfless coworker and friend to her work family and all the patients who had the opportunity to meet her.

Erica had a charming, kind voice and a sense of humor that immediately made people comfortable. She was a woman of faith, with a contagious laugh that made you feel welcome whenever she saw you. The more you got to know her, the more you felt an authentic, down-to-earth connection with her.

Queen City Ear Nose and Throat feels tremendous heartbreak from the loss of Erica. She worked with our physicians and staff for many years and was an important part of our family. She supported her team and would help others who needed assistance when called upon to ensure patients received quality care.

We have lost an integral part of the Queen City Ear Nose and Throat family, and she will be deeply missed by us all. We grieve for her family and want to support them in the best way possible during this very difficult time.

As Erica’s employer, we have launched this GoFundMe campaign to help her surviving family. They have an immediate need for financial assistance during the painful and challenging initial weeks ahead. A new, loving and supportive, stable home situation will have to be built for her children, who have been dealt a devastating, tragic and unexpected loss. Contributions will be accepted through 3-26-2022 (100% of these funds will be given to Erica's family).
