¡Hello everybody!
My name is Eric Yamil Cruz. I was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico. I'm currently a 3rd year graduate acting student at the USC School of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles, California.
As part of my upcoming last semester in the MFA Acting program, I will be participating in an Acting Showcase which will take place both in NYC and Los Angeles during the month of April 2018. This will be an opportunity to do just that, showcase my work in front of an audience composed by Agents, Managers and Casting Directors, who come to scout for new talent.
I am (unfortunately) responsible for covering my airfare, lunch and lodging expenses for this trip. However, my commitment to academic tuition has compromised my finances and it will not be possible for me to raise the money I need on my own, in time.
Hence, I have decided to open a GoFundMe account for donations. Any contribution will be more than helpful: $1, $5, $10, $20... or more. I vow to continue to work hard and, hopefully, if all goes well, "I'll see you in the movies" very soon.
I will be uploading some footage of my craft over the next weeks and provide updates on my progress for you all.
I thank you for your love and support! These are difficult times. I must find a way to get to the other side tho, even if it takes asking for some help.

Mi nombre es Eric Yamil Cruz. Nací y fui criado en San Juan, Puerto Rico. Actualmente curso mi tercer y último año de estudios graduados en Actuación en USC School of Dramatic Arts en Los Ángeles, California.
Este próximo semestre participaré del MFA Acting Showcase que se llevará a cabo durante el mes de abril 2018. Esta es una oportunidad para compartir mi trabajo ante una audiencia compuesta de agentes, manejadores y directores de casting, que van en busca de nuevos talentos.
Desafortunadamente, soy responsable de cubrir los gastos correspondientes a vuelo, comidas y estadía para este viaje. Sin embargo, mis gastos en matrícula y créditos han comprometido mis finanzas y no será posible conseguir, por mi cuenta, la cantidad de dinero que necesito a tiempo.
Es por eso que he decidido abrir una cuenta GoFundMe para donaciones. Ayúdeme con lo que pueda: $1, $5, $10, $20, o más... lo que pueda. Yo seguiré echando el resto y si todo sale como espero, pronto verá un rostro familiar en las tablas, el cine o la televisión.
Durante las próximas semanas, compartiré un poco de mi trabajo con ustedes y los mantendré al tanto del progreso.
Agradezco todo el amor y el apoyo. Vivimos un tiempo difícil, pero no me doy por vencido. Debo echar el resto en esta recta final y si me toca pedir un poco de ayuda, así lo haré.
