Eric Walters Kelch Like Protein 11 Encephalitis

This is my Brother Eric.  He is a Husband (wife, Mary Walters), Father (Sam Walters), Son and so much more to so many people.  He was diagnosed with this very rare autoimmune disease (Kelch Like Protein 11 Encephalitis) and is currently at Mayo Clinic fighting again for his life as a tumor sent signals to his immune system which then attacked his brain stem.  He’s been under going chemotherapy, IV Steroid infusions, plasma exchange and had to have a tracheotomy to help him breathe after discovering blood clots in his lungs.  This is his fourth stay at Mayo, in the ICU twice, a total of 40 days and counting.  You can see his full journey on the Caring Bridge website or app. Anything you are able to give to ease the mounting medical bills will go a long way to help them and allow them to focus on the healing journey.  We thank you for anything you are able to give and for caring and praying for him from the bottom of our hearts.  ❤️
