Scholarship Overview:
Eric was a Miami University student who tragically passed away in the summer of 2011. Eric can be defined by many ways, but one significant trait Eric possessed was a genuineness of character. For those that knew Eric there was a great connectedness that he had for life. Eric Embodied the spirit of compassion, patience, hard work, loyalty, teamwork, dedication, commitment and respect. To know Eric was to appreciate his passion for life and his willingness to share a part of himself with many.
The Eric Shick Memorial Scholarship was established by Eric's family and many friends and is intended to honor Eric's memory in a way that helps to recognize others that are examples of the spirit that Eric lived.
