Eric Peter Bond - ' Ped '

Donation protected
Hi my name is Sarah Bond.
I am niece to Eric Peter Bond, most of you may have known him as Ped or Pedro. My uncle was a well known chap in Flamborough circles, and lived in the village all his life, a true flamborian who did not mix his words, many of you will still be walking on carpets he fitted no doubt, as that was his daytime job for many years until he retired.

Peter was heavily involved with the Football and Cricket clubs on south sea road, first as a player, then an umpire, groundsman, and virtually everything in between.

For over 50 years he gave his weekends over to the thing he loved the most, he was never happier than when he was involved with local sport, be it fundraising, cutting the grass, or marking out the pitch, he helped generate interest in generations of Flamborough youngsters who played for Flamborough.

Unfortunately Ped had an undiagnosed heart condition, and passed away peacefully in December.
His easy going nature, witty banter and contribution to local sport will be sadly missed by all.

My family would like to raise some money for a memorial bench in the cricket field in Flamborough to remember Ped.
Any surplus funds would go towards a headstone in the church yard where he will be buried. Any donations whatever you can afford in these uncertain times, will be very much appreciated. Thank you.
