Eric Fitzgibbon Memorial Fund

My name is Georgina, our nephew Eric, 31, was injured in a catastrophic fall in Vancouver on October 3rd 2021.

 

An incredible guy we all love.

 

He is now in intensive care with a severe brain injury in Vancouver General Hospital Canada. We are holding positive thoughts for him and know he is in great care there. He has a long road though and I and my husband Chris (his maternal uncle) and our nieces Sorcha and Sinead Eric's sisters are asking for your help.

 

 

 

 

 

 

He has had complicated surgeries on his brain in the last two days and is stable now but doctors have asked for family to come to Canada from Ireland to be with him.

 

We would like to help Bridge and Ger his parents to get out to their son and to help finance the substantial medical bills they may face.

 

 

 

 

 

We are placing the amount at €20,000 because their flights to get there are already costing €4,000 so we know the costs will mount quickly.

 

If you can help me to help them you will contribute to long term care, medical expenses and focus on supporting their fantastic son who has been making a life in his adopted city, making friends, creating great memories on his travels and working for the life he dreamed of.

 

 

 

 

 

We are praying for Eric's recovery, he has a terrific family who are anxious to see his lovely smile and hear his laughter again.
