Eric needs surgery

As many of you know, Eric has been extremely ill the last few weeks.  He has been out of work for almost two weeks.  Today, he received the news.  He was diagnosed last summer with a Hiatal hernia that VA said didn’t need to be repaired. Well now 1/2 his stomach has breeched his chest cavity and the fear is that it can twist. They are expediting a final test tomorrow then he will be headed to Mass General for surgery.  He is so excited to get this painful condition fixed, but he will have to be on short term disability for a while.  Before he can access the disability benefits, he must first use up two weeks of sick/vacation time.  Unfortunately, he has no time left and that is stressing him out more than anything.  We are not ones to ask, and this experience is a humbling one, but if anyone is able to donate just a bit, it would alleviate his worry, and he could go into this surgery with nothing to think about but healing.  Thank you in advance for any help.
