Eric Brooks Handicap Vehicle

In July, 2015, Eric Brooks and his wife, Jessica, had 3 children, with a 4th child on the way. He was a welder at Altec Industries and was the sole provider for their family. On July 29, 2015, Eric was involved in an tragic accident, suffering an extensive spinal cord injury that left him unable to walk. For the last two years, this family has endured many trials and overwhelming stress as they tried to juggle Eric’s many extensive therapy appointments, the birth of a new baby, and losing their sole income. After much hard work and many therapy appointments, though still unable to walk, Eric has improved in his mobility and has put forth great effort to be able to do more things on his own again. While we are so very thankful for all the friends and family that have helped during this time –the time and money spent on transportation, the generous financial offerings, and all the many prayers, Eric’s heart’s desire is to be able to drive again so that he can once again find a job that would help support his family and possibly even go back to school. He is currently going through the necessary steps and classes to learn to drive again, but needs a vehicle equipped with handicap hand controls and wheelchair accessibility, which is beyond their financial ability to do. Any funds donated on this page will go towards purchasing such a vehicle that will grant him back a piece of his freedom and enable him to provide more financial assistance to his family.
