From October 22 through the 28th, I will be competing in the Eric Abuier International Trumpet Competiton in Rouen, France. This is the opportunity of a life time! I will be competing against trumpet players from all over the world and I am one of only three representing the United States of America.
The Repertoire I will perform includes Anthony Plog's Postcards, Francaix's Sonatine, Jevtic's Que le jour est beau, Haydn's Concerto in Eb, Honegger's Intrada, Enesco's Legend, a new composition by organist Thierry Escaich, and more!
As you can imagine, getting to France is going to be quite a large expense, and being a college student, I am already tight on funds with paying for rent, books, tution, gasoline, and everything else.
Any donations would go toward hotel, flight, and other travel expenses. Anything that you are willing to donate to help me get across the ocean to compete in this incredible opportunity would be such a blessing. Thank you so much!
