Tyler's Baseball Dream

Donation protected
Donations still accepted.  It is hard to believe that it has been over a year and half since the death of Tyler's grandma and his father.  Colleen continues to provide Tyler with travel baseball experiences as a single parent.  The heartache of losing her husband and mother within two days still has been difficult for Colleen.  See the story below:

As we all spend time with family today and celebrate the birth of Christ, please keep my dear friend Colleen & her family in your prayers. This Christmas will be a difficult one to celebrate. Her family was stricken with the unexpected death of her husband Guy Fischer on Friday, December 22nd followed by her mother on Saturday, December 23rd after a year long battle with brain cancer. Guy was home with Tyler, their son, while Colleen went to Louisiana to prepare for her Mother's final days. Tyler went to check on his Dad when he didn't acknowledge the knocks on the bathroom door and found Guy unresponsive. Many have reached out to ask what they can do for her and her family. For those that knew Guy, knew his passion for baseball and FSU football. Guy spent hours at baseball practice at every level with his sons, Brennan and Tyler. Guy made sure Tyler was always working on his skills at the Scott Hemond clinic, participating in travel baseball, and always reinforced that academics were first. He and his father shared a passion for baseball, but with Guy gone, the dream is in jeopardy .Tyler, now more than ever, wants to continue his dream of being a professional baseball player like his grandfather, Hank, to honor his dad and help his grandfather heal from the loss of his son. I know the one thing Colleen will want to do is continue with Tyler to keep his life as close to normal as possible after losing his Number One Fan (his dad) and his grandmother (Juliette) within a day of each other - 3 days before Christmas. Please help keep Tyler's baseball dreams alive! Please donate what you can to help her keep this boy training and playing through his high school years. He is only 11 years old. No child should have to witness their father passing away like Tyler did...
