Peru Mission Trip

Dear Friends and Family,
An exciting opportunity has presented itself for me to join a mission trip to San Juan de Lurigancho, Peru, November 7-15, through Crosspoint Ministries. San Juan de Lurigancho is a city near Lima, where almost 2 million people live and most of them only eat one meal a day. Many of the women and young girls are verbally, physically and sexually abused by their own family members, the very people who are supposed to protect them.
We will have some ministry at a home called Pat’s Place for these women and their children. I am excited to help their healing through art journaling, and giving lots of love to the children. I’m also excited about capturing the experience of the trip through photography and videography, and sharing my faith. Other ministry will include visiting orphanages, medical clinics, street dramas, teaching, and even doing some minor construction work. Our goal is to bring a message of hope and healing to the broken-hearted, knowing that the light of Jesus Christ can overcome the darkness through a personal relationship with Him.
I need your help! I ask first and foremost for prayer over me. I feel very strongly that God wants me to be a part of this missionary team. On my own it would be impossible to go. However, if God wants me to go, He is able to make a way. With His leading and the help of people like you, anything is possible. The cost to cover everything including airfare, food, & lodging is $1950. I have added a small amount to cover the fees taken from donations. I must turn in my deposit as soon as possible with the application. All of the funding is supposed to be raised by October 7, but especially needs to be completed before the beginning of November. There is no amount too small or too big to donate. Any extra amount raised will go to the people in need. Would you pray about helping me? I know that God has a purpose for me in Peru and that my faith will grow through this experience. Thank you for your help in making this mission trip a reality. Together, we can make a difference.
