Erevena Challenge: Sogorea Te' Land Trust
Donation protected
Each year, Erevena aims to complete a challenge in order to raise funds for our chosen nonprofits. On June 10th, we are collectively cycling the 1,193 miles between our original office in London and our newest office in Stockholm. Everyone who takes part in this challenge will donate a minimum of $25 to one of our nominated organizations, and we would like to invite our clients to join us in supporting these causes!
Our SF/NY offices are raising funds for Sogorea Te' Land Trust as part of their Shuumi Land Tax initiative. Sogorea Te' is an urban Indigenous women-led land trust that facilitates the return of Indigenous land to Indigenous people, and they encourage non-indigenous people who live on Ohlone Land to support their work of rematriation through a land tax donation. More information about their goals, which include the return and reburial of their ancestral remains, can be found on their website:
https://sogoreate-landtrust.org/
All of the funds raised will be given directly to Sogorea Te' and we would greatly appreciate any support as we embark on this challenge!
