Dear family, friends, and God's little helpers:
My son, Joey was diagnosed with Leukemia a month ago. He has continued to work through all his treatments, outside in this HORRIBLE heat (he's a trooper). He has taken a turn for the worse and is now bleeding internally :-(. They doctors clamped a hole in his esophagus and his red blood cells are WAY off!!! He will be in the hospital for...??? He has some insurance but not "great" insurance. Joey's time off work and his stay in ICU at Riverside Community Hospital is costing him about $1000 a day. This is WAY above anything we can cover. Anyone that can help with any amount would be greatly appreciated. The last Joey needs is mpre stress...
