<div>In der Nacht vom 19. August wurde das abgelegene pakistanische Bergdorf Dalori durch einen verheerenden Erdrutsch nach einem schweren Wolkenbruch fast vollständig zerstört. Mindestens 15 Häuser wurden weggerissen, neun Menschen starben, darunter 5 Kinder und mehr als 20 Dorfbewohner sind noch verschüttet. Mein enger Freund – der in diesem Dorf lebt – hat nicht nur sein Zuhause verloren, sondern auch Familienmitglieder und jegliche Lebensgrundlage.

<div>Die Menschen dort haben keinen Strom, keinen Zugang zu Maschinen, und versuchen mit bloßen Händen nach Überlebenden zu graben. Die Straßen sind unpassierbar. Viele Familien stehen vor dem Nichts.

At least 15 homes were destroyed, 9 people confirmed dead, and over 20 villagers are still trapped under debris. My dear friend, a resident of Dalori, lost not only his home but also family members and all means to survive.
