Hey everyone, this is Eraclio Vargas, a 69-year-old Venezuelan, better known as "yayo.” Also known as "el profe" (the teacher), he dedicated 25 years of his life to educate in different universities and colleges of Maracaibo, Venezuela. Passionate about his profession, he stood out for his qualities of teachings, each class was fun and cheerful and from every subject he made a joke or told an anecdote helping students to become charismatic professionals.
In addition to his profession, "el guaro" - yes, he has many nicknames - he excelled in several areas: as a son, helping with his salary every family member in Barquisimeto, his hometown; as a great husband, always wanting to help his beloved "Yeya" through all battlefields marriage put in their way; an exemplary father and grandfather to his relatives, teaching values such as honesty, humility and respect.

Since March 25 we began to notice changes in his behavior: lack of memory, loss of balance and vision, difficulty speaking, loss of toilet training, among others. After many tests and studies, we got the root of the problem: a brain tumor located on his left side with highly aggressive perilesional edema. We were relieved as a family to know that it can be surgically removed. But unfortunately, because of the terrible situation in Venezuela, they only receive payments in dollars, which is why today we need your help to be able to achieve this intervention as soon as possible. It is not his time yet, we want more memories, more stories, more "Profe" in every corner of the world, and we know that with the help of God, your collaboration and science we’ll have "guarito", husband, grandfather and dad, for longer.
