<div>Last Sunday, August 10, 2025, our lives were forever changed.
</div>
<div>My sister, Lorena, and her longtime partner, Marco, were struck by a drunk driver. Tragically, we lost my beautiful sister in the crash. Marco not only lost the love of his life, but he was also left in critical condition with severe injuries.
</div>

<div>Marco has suffered multiple critical injuries, including:
</div>
<div>• Serious brain trauma and small strokes
</div>
<div>• Damage to his lungs, requiring a tracheostomy
</div>
<div>• Kidney failure requiring dialysis
</div>
<div>• Several surgeries on his intestines with a colostomy
</div>
<div>• Dozens of fractures (skull, spine, ribs, arms, legs, jaw, and more)
</div>

<div>Despite everything, Marco continues to fight every single day with incredible strength. His family stands by his side, but the medical bills, rehabilitation, and long-term care costs are overwhelming.
</div>

</div>

<div>Mi hermana Lorena, y su compañero de muchos años, Marco, fueron impactados por un conductor ebrio. Trágicamente, perdimos a mi querida hermana en el accidente. Marco no solo perdió al amor de su vida, sino que además quedó en estado crítico con graves lesiones.

<div>Marco ha sufrido múltiples lesiones graves, entre ellas:

<div>• Trauma cerebral severo y pequeños infartos cerebrales
</div>
<div>• Daño en los pulmones, requiriendo una traqueostomía
</div>
<div>• Fallo renal con necesidad de hemodiálisis
</div>
<div>• Varias cirugías en los intestinos con colostomía
</div>
<div>• Docenas de fracturas (cráneo, columna, costillas, brazos, piernas, mandíbula y más)

<div>A pesar de todo, Marco sigue luchando cada día con una fuerza increíble. Su familia está a su lado, pero los gastos médicos, la rehabilitación y el cuidado a largo plazo son abrumadores.
