Help Doris- Christmas ER Hospital treatment

Hello everyone , I wanted to give you an update on Doris. She is getting stronger every day but sadly can’t eat in her own, literally the food falls out of her mouth.
We continue feeding her with a plastic syringe few times a day along with her prescribed medication.
After getting the referrals from the VCA the only veterinary dentist with availability this week is quoting $5.5k. (We attached estimate as reference)
They confirmed being able to perform surgery as soon as this Thursday.
I tried reaching out to Amanda Foundation however they don’t do dental surgery and Kinder 4 Rescue is closed due to Covid (drove there this afternoon they had the sign posted on the door). If anyone can recommend a veterinary dentist who can do the surgery at a more affordable cost I would appreciate any leads you can give me.

Hello, my name is Miriam and I am fundraising for my mom’s Basset Hound - Doris. Earlier this evening Doris was hit by a car who fled the scene right in front of my parents home and we rushed her to the vet. Times have been hard for my parents for a long while now and earlier this year my mom rescued Doris after she was found abandoned in South LA. She has cared for and rehabilitated Doris all year just for this to happen on Christmas day and it’s heartbreaking. I was able to help with the emergency deposit as soon as we arrived to the 24/7 Vet in Lakewood and although this was unfortunate the vet said she needs veterinary surgery which we are looking at around $5k. I know most of us our pets are part of our family and because of a careless person driving with no regard for anything in their way my parents are in a rough spot on Christmas. Anything that can help we would appreciate.
