Keeping a roof over our Head.

My name is Christian Logan I am married to my amazing husband Jacob; we have four awesome dogs that are our kids. We ae currently facing eviction from our apartment and will have to be out on December 23. We are very hesitant to ask for help but we have exhausted all other possibilities right now. Back in 2017, my Husband Jacob was diagnosed with a tumor that causes him to have seizures, since then his health has declined and he unfortunately has not been able to work much. We have applied for disability but he was denied, we appealed but have so far have not had any success. I have been doing my best to support us but back in March, I lost my job due to the Covid shut down here in Galveston. I was able to get unemployment but I only got $194 a week, which did not even cover our rent, which was $885. I aggressively started trying to find a job, and in Oct, I was able to get a temporary part time job, which started out at 15 hours a week, which we felt blessed for but it still was not helping us caught up on everything we were behind on outside of rent. However, towards the end of November I lost that job due to lack of hours. I have exhausted all the help with agencies in Galveston County the few months I was out of work. With all that said, if anyone would like to donate to help us save us from being evicted we would appreciate it. We are going to try our hardest to get on our feet if we can get some help to get us over the hump it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much and God Bless.
