Equity Now Sinai

We are a group of healthcare and global health employees engaged in a federal lawsuit  against the Mount Sinai Health System for gender, age and race discrimination. Our experiences shed light on the inequities rampant in our academic healthcare systems and the urgent need for change.

Since we spoke up in 2019, hundreds of people from Sinai and beyond have reached out to share their stories of discrimination within healthcare. 

We are glad that our actions have led to a movement.  And we are determined to see positive changes made at Mount Sinai and in all of academic medicine. Our colleagues, trainees and patients are depending on us to win this fight.
