Equipped 4 Life was created because sports are important for kids growing up. They are good for health, teamwork, staying out of trouble, and of course, they're fun. The problem is that some families struggle just to make it through life with the essentials and struggle to spend money buying sports equipment for their kids.
In the lemonade/bracelet stand we had yesterday we made $193! We probably had 40 customers, many of whom added extra money to support the cause. Mackenzie and Harper were great at sales, and the Equipped 4 Life charity part was a big help. Below are some pictures.
As you know, we are asking people to match as much of our sales as they are comfortable with as a donation to Equipped 4 Life. We will use the money to give new sports equipment like soccer balls to underprivileged kids through a Boys & Girls Club in San Diego.
