Equine Vet School Scholarship Donation Fund
Donation protected
At Springhill Equine Veterinary Clinic, our mission is to make the world a better place for horses. One of the ways we do that is by educating horse owners through resources like our podcast, Straight from the Horse Doctor's Mouth. Another way is by mentoring the next generation of equine veterinarians. Every year, students from all over the US spend time volunteering at our Clinic to gain equine veterinary experience on their trek towards vet school. And every year, a few of them become employees and work for us as technicians before they apply for vet school. And every year, some of them make it into vet school. It's a long road to get to that point, and it's a very long and expensive road ahead of them.
One of the things you can do as horse owners to help the next generation of equine vets is donate to this scholarship fund. We work hard to prepare young people for the career of equine vet medicine. Many of them are first-generation college students. Most of them that end up at Springhill Equine do not come from wealthy families. And the debt that they are facing by attending vet school can keep some of them from following their dreams of working with horses. Everything we can do to help young people become equine vets is a step towards ensuring that there will be an equine vet available for our horses down the road. And the world needs every equine vet it can get!
Whatever you can do to help is appreciated. Whether it's $20 or $2,000, your contribution will go to someone we are mentoring through pre-vet and vet school. Consider this an investment in the future of equine vet medicine!
