A portable rescue frame is an invaluable piece of equipment in incidents requiring vertical lift of a recumbent or entrapped (well, septic cistern, mud etc. ) horse. Municipal first responders or technical rescue teams have equipment limited to use on human victims - usually 600 lb "two man" systems - which are not capable of undertaking the rescue of horses which can weigh 1,200lbs or more.
We already have and use the body slings required for this system, but the frame will enhance and complete our capabilities to help horses in a variety of rescue scenarios!
This rescue frame has components for multiple configurations for use in different rescue scenarios and can be set up by as few as two persons. It can be used in locations when no heavy equipment is available, or when access for heavy equipment is not possible.
Please donate and help us add it to our rescue
