Help Kamisha Overcome Lyme Disease

In 2013, after almost 10 years searching for answers to her ill health, Kamisha was diagnosed with Lyme disease, a debilitating bacterial infection spread by ticks. This disease has made it impossible for Kamisha to work or care for herself for the last few years and has impacted all aspects of her life. Treatment options for Lyme disease in Australia are currently very limited and after years of seeking treatments here we are now raising funds for her treatment at a specialist Lyme clinic in Germany (The St George Clinic).

Costing $25,000 for 2 weeks of intensive treatment plus travel costs, we need to raise as much money as we can over the next few months to help towards Kamisha's recovery. With the support from her Australian doctor and positive results coming out of this German clinic, we feel confident this will give Kamisha the greatest opportunity to overcome this disease.

I am extremely grateful for any assistance you can give me to help towards this goal and I can’t wait to give you an update on my progress post-treatment. When I get my life back I want to share what I’ve learnt from this experience with others struggling with this terrible and serious illness.

Hi, my name is Scott, I am Kamisha's dad. I have been a heartbroken and feeling helpless dad for too many years. We have exhausted every avenue to try to beat this crippling disease with no success or support in this country. Which brings us to this leg of our long journey to get my beautiful daughter back. Those of you who know Kamisha very well know what a loving, caring and giving young lady she is and so deserves quality of life.
