Nottingham JSoc is organizing this fundraiser to benefit Magen David Adom UK.

We are raising funds for Magen David Adom (MDA), Israel's national emergency medical service, which plays a critical role in saving lives every day. As students in Nottingham, we might feel far away from global issues, but this is an opportunity to make a real impact—right now.

MDA is at the forefront of providing emergency medical care, disaster response, and life-saving blood donations in Israel. Whether it's responding to accidents, natural disasters, or even security incidents, MDA's teams are always on the front lines, working around the clock to protect every life—regardless of race, religion, or nationality.

The organisation also trains and equips thousands of volunteers (including students just like us!) to provide essential first aid and emergency response, ensuring help is always nearby when it’s needed most.

In recent times, Israel has faced increasing challenges, from the ongoing health crisis to heightened security risks. Magen David Adom is stretched thin as they continue to respond to growing demands. With every donation, we can help provide essential equipment, ambulances, medical supplies, and more to support their life-saving work.
