<div>In the early hours of Sunday morning, May 18, our family was struck by an unthinkable tragedy. A fire broke out taking everything — the house, the belongings, the memories. But most heartbreakingly, it took the life of someone we cherished beyond words — Maria Sifuentes.

<div>Maria was more than just a name. She was a loving mother and sister, an extremely proud grandmother, a caring aunt, and a dear friend to many people in the community and was also known by many for her vibrant and joyful videos on social media which she thought one day at least one would go viral for her but most importantly she wanted people around her to always be happy and make people laugh! Her loss is deeply felt by all who knew her and loved her. Her unconditional love for everyone around her, warmth, her laughter, and her constant willingness to help others made her a light in all our lives. Losing her in this way is something we never could have imagined or prepared for.

<div>At the time of the fire, only two family members were inside the home. Her brother made it out with severe injuries and is in the hospital with a long recovery ahead. Maria’s daughter and brother who lived in the home lost a mother and sister but also lost everything due to the fire. We are raising funds to help cover funeral costs, replace essential items lost in the fire, and other expenses this tragedy has left behind.

<div>If you knew Maria, you know how much she gave — even when she had little, she gave unconditionally with a whole heart. Now, we humbly ask for that same kindness in return. No amount is too small, and every donation will help our family through this painful time. Maria Sifuentes left behind three daughters, Eva Depaz, Cyndi Depaz, and Erica Depaz and her four grandkids Daleysa Gutierrez Depaz, Alexavier Depaz, Isabella Depaz and Keilani Depaz.

<div>En las primeras horas del domingo 18 de mayo, nuestra familia fue sorprendida con una impensable tragedia. Se desató un incendio que se llevó todo: la casa, las pertenencias, los recuerdos. Pero lo más desgarrador, se llevó la vida de alguien a quien apreciábamos más allá de las palabras: Maria Sifuentes.

<div>Maria era más que un nombre. Era una madre y hermana cariñosa, una abuela extremadamente orgullosa, una tía cariñosa y una querida amiga para mucha gente en la comunidad y también era conocida por muchos por sus videos vibrantes y alegres en las redes sociales ¡que pensó que algún día al menos uno se volvería viral para ella, pero lo más importante es que quería que la gente a su alrededor siempre estuviera feliz y hacer reír a la gente! Su pérdida es profundamente sentida por todos los que la conocieron y amaron. Su amor incondicional por todos los que la rodeaban, su calidez, su risa y su constante disposición a ayudar a los demás la convirtieron en una luz en todas nuestras vidas. Perderla de esta manera es algo que nunca podríamos haber imaginado o preparado.

<div>En el momento del incendio, solo dos miembros de la familia estaban dentro de la casa. Su hermano logró salir con heridas graves y está en el hospital con una larga recuperación por delante. La hija y el hermano de Maria, que vivían en la casa, perdieron a una madre y hermana, pero también perdieron todo debido al incendio. Estamos recaudando fondos para ayudar a cubrir los gastos del funeral, reemplazar los artículos esenciales perdidos en el incendio y otros gastos que esta tragedia ha dejado atrás. María Sifuentes dejo detrás tres hijas Eva Depaz, Cyndi Depaz, y Erica Depaz y cuatro nietos Daleysa Gutierrez Depaz, Alexavier Depaz, Isabella Depaz y Keilani Depaz.
