Eighteen years ago a miracle occurred! We welcomed our triplets, Sanai, Tony, Jr., and Morgan, into this world with all odds against them. To begin with, they were born at just TWENTY-SEVEN weeks weighing 1.14 lbs., 2 lbs, and 1.12 lbs. and remaining in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit for the next three months. Being born as premature as our triplets were, puts an increased risk of health problems and learning delays in our children. Upon getting released from the hospital and visiting our pediatrician, we were advised to start our children in an educational/learning environment as early as possible. We began teaching our kids sight words, and how to read and write when they became of age. Shortly thereafter we introduced math and reasoning. We have always surrounded our children with books or academic enrichment, placing a high emphasis on education over the years.
Sanai, Tony, and Morgan have performed outstanding academically in every grade throughout their school years, and now the time has come, GRADUATION! After nine hundred bottles per month, nine hundred diapers per month, six training potties, seven car seats, three cribs, three bassinets, three high chairs, three swings, a triplet stroller, a double stroller, single stroller, and a wagon, here we are, looking beyond high school to attend college. Sanai, Tony, and Morgan applied and were accepted into over forty colleges/universities each. What an amazing accomplishment! After performing so well over the years and receiving acceptance letters to over forty institutions of higher learning, we are faced with yet another daunting dilemma, affording college for our triplets.
Have you ever dreamed of going to college, only to have your dream interrupted by the financial burden of affording the opportunity? Now you have a chance to assist three hard-working and very talented youth who are facing the same challenge. Sanai, Tony, and Morgan are extremely resilient and rise above every challenge. They have taken a very active role in applying for scholarships and raising money so they can pursue their dream of attending college.
