This is only a small part of my story that makes me who I am
In 2013 I was diagnosed with epilepsy... i never knew what this meant before I was diagnosed.
Epilepsy can come in different types. For me, I feel I have one of the luckiest types. The worst seizure that I have ever had was about 10 seconds long but this happens up to 20+ times a day.
Despite my challenge, I have managed to build my home with my husband and raise our precious little boy. You might think that having a shower, cooking dinner even cleaning the house are normal day to day activities but unfortunately for some people with this disability, these things don’t come so easily.
This disability isn’t spoken about enough and people are not aware of the support that is out there. I will be doing my part by hosting a fundraiser in the hope of raising support for this cause.
