Feeding our Future

Hi, My name is Edwina and on behalf of Seeding Africa I have started this fundraising event.

It is our earnest desire to work with 162 communities within 54 African countries for the launch phase alone !

We hereby solicit your financial assistance for the success of our project which is meant to be a great help to African farmers and local farming communities. This request is coming from Seeding Africa.

Seeding Africa is a non-profit organization that was founded by Africans on the continent and in the diaspora to promote resilience for women and youths in Africa through organic farming, climate adaptation, environment, and peace building. The organization has its global office in Norway.

Our mission is to source and supply organic seeds to local farming communities on the entire continent, thereby safeguarding the current and future food security of our people. We aim to transform Africa into a strategic player in global organic agriculture. Practice sound environmental and land management techniques to reduce rural poverty. At the same time, we ensure that all programming is gender-inclusive.

Africa has a special program which is called the Green Revolution, which is all about promoting African agriculture without African farmers. Seeding Africa is seeking to raise resources where 70% of fundraising initiatives and budget allocations are tailored to agriculture, to reach Africa's rural growth rates of 6% annually by 2025.

We will integrate Agricultural Business Centers  and markets to significantly increase agricultural production and exports. Additionally, training and agricultural kits will be provided to enhance food quality/quantity/diversity.  We will also provide knowledge on marketing
management and access to relevant markets. 

We will work with carefully selected beneficiaries in developing their communities, taking into consideration activities that can generate income and build up their capacity and livelihood. Our ratio of participants will be 60 percent women and 40 percent men.

This project is amazing, and bound to work, but we cannot do it alone. It is for this reason that we are soliciting your financial assistance to make the project a success. Your support is tax-deductible. The food insecurity crisis is mounting in Africa, and your donations will make a huge difference in the lives of Africans.
