<div>Hello everyone my name is Ashley Rivera,

</div>
<div>Allow me to share with you the journey of countless individuals who, like myself, have been diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). ALS, often referred to as Lou Gehrig's disease, is a relentless adversary, gradually diminishing one's ability to move, speak, and ultimately breathe. Since my diagnosis in March 2020, I've come to understand firsthand the profound impact of this condition on every aspect of life. Yet, in the face of adversity, there remains a glimmer of hope and resilience that propels us forward.

<div>As someone living with ALS, the quest for independent living takes on a whole new significance. It's not just about convenience or comfort; it's about reclaiming autonomy and dignity in the face of daunting challenges. An accessible living space isn't merely a luxury; it's a lifeline that enables individuals with ALS to maintain a semblance of normalcy and freedom. Pursuing independent living isn't just a personal aspiration; it's a testament to the indomitable human spirit, a defiance against the limitations imposed by this unforgiving disease.

<div>In our pursuit of independent living, your generosity can make an immeasurable difference. A donation towards converting the garage into a wheelchair-friendly studio apartment represents more than just a financial contribution; it symbolizes solidarity, compassion, and a shared commitment to empowering individuals with ALS. With your support, we can transform a simple structure into a haven of accessibility and inclusivity, where independence thrives, and hope endures. Together, let us turn dreams of independent living into tangible realities, lighting the way for a brighter tomorrow. Thank you.
