Hi my names laura. Im trying to raise funds to get revolutionary treatment which is not available for my condition in Britain.
I have stage three ovarian cancer and need treatment if i'm to survive this disease. Without it i'm under a death sentence.
unfortunately in order to get this treatment I need to raise £70,000 and I haven't the luxury of time on my side.
I would really appreciate any amount you can afford.
I'm 43yrs of age and have a 23yr old son and really would love to continue "life begins at 40"... I've survived a broken back with cauda equina syndrome and septicaemia, defeated the odds twice. I'm a fighter and not going to let this beat me.
Please please everybody help me fund this treatment.

Good News! Laura is home recovering from the operation. It was extensive surgery with some complications but she's now on the mend. From what the surgeon could see, all of the tumours and diseased organs were removed, however microscopic cells may still remain. Although Laura is largely resistant to the chemo, she will be having a couple of chemo treatments. It is an aggressive form of cancer so the cells will multiply quickly and we are still looking for curative treatments.
