Eastern New York Blackhawks, Inc. is proud to announce its recent not for profit status! A charitable organization created to provide a positive learning and playing experience to foster amateur competitive baseball for young players in and around the upstate communities of Columbia, Greene and Rensselaer counties. This program will strive to teach participants the ideals and importance of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, good moral character and respect for authority and peers! Greetings:
I am writing this letter on behalf of the Eastern New York Blackhawks youth baseball development Team. You or your organization has been specifically identified by our families as a resource of support for our children. You may be an employer of family members to our youth, services rendered to you or by our working families, consumers of your services, and/or friends, neighbors and family.
This past fall and for Spring of 2018 we have a robust team of children from Columbia, Greene and Rensselaer Counties. The mission of this organization is to provide children, of varying abilities, skills and resources the opportunity for independent and dependent team building growth. This undertaking is realized through targeted peer relationship activities, outdoor and indoor physical activities, team education, meetings and tactical review of lessons learned. The importance of healthy competition is one of many factors incorporated into the program, however respectful behavior, sportsmanship and character development are paramount goals.
What might make this program unique, is that the children are taught and have a voice in major decisions on behalf of the team. This includes an understanding at age appropriate levels of budget, administration and finance.
Participation in any regional or community based sporting activity has expenses associated, such that organizations such as this struggle to be able to offer children adequate opportunity with competing family financial needs.
A contribution from your organization would be greatly appreciated and would directly offset costs incurred throughout the fall and spring season. Noting 100% of financial or in kind contributions that you or your organization make directly benefit the children within this upstate New York community. Eastern New York Blackhawks is a Not for Profit Corporation with a pending 501(c)(3) tax exempt status, which means any contribution will be tax deductible. Additionally, no employees or members draw any administrative fees or salaries.
For Corporate Sponsorships: sponsors will be recognized at every available juncture throughout the season and advertised to the extent practicable. This will afford your business with community awareness, outreach, marketing opportunities and generate good will and gratitude by your nominating families.
