Veil of Envy: A Psychological Thriller Short Film
Donation protected
Hello! We are a group of student filmmakers creating a short film for our graduation, and we need your help to make our film come to life!
Our short film, Veil of Envy, is a psychological horror/thriller that dives deep into the struggles of anxiety, insecurity, and depression.
The story follows Riley, a young woman plagued by self-doubt and overwhelming fear. As she explores out of her comfort zone to face her anxieties, she is confronted by a physical manifestation of her worst critic, Florence. a cruel, bullying version of herself. As Florence's manifestation intensifies, Riley must confront her deepest fears in order to break the veil that Florence has passed through.
The film explores themes of mental health, self-acceptance, and the emotional battles many of us face every day, wrapped in a chilling, suspenseful aesthetic. We believe it has the power to resonate with anyone who has ever struggled with their own inner demons and to tell a story that can encourage people that there is light in every darkness.
Why We Need Your Help: Creating this film involves costs for production, including props, location fees, costumes, actors, and food. Your donation will directly support the creation of a high-quality, impactful film that aims to raise awareness about mental health and inspire conversations about the things we often keep hidden.
Every contribution, no matter how big or small, will make a huge difference in helping us bring this project to life. Thank you for your generosity and for supporting this important film. Together, we can shine a light on the darkness many of us face.
Any contribution will result in your name in our credits!
