Envision Your Birth Community Workshops

Greetings,

I am a Birthworker and childbirth educator offering a community childbirth workshop and would love your help.

Each participant will be able to receive a packet with items they will use in the classroom and be able to take home. The birthing person will have materials to create a visible plan to safely mount on the wall of space chosen to give birth. Each person will be provided with a reading list with a variety of titles to extend their learning

This workshop will be conducted for a full day and provide lunch and healthy snacks.

To make this experience impactful and sustainable, we need your help. The funds that are received will assist us in marketing on social networking. Items in each birth packet such as Journals, pens and other materials used during class and, most importantly, healthy food and snacks to nourish the expecting parents throughout the day. We would love to also have yoga mats, washable pillows, birth balls, peanut balls and a few extra rebozos for practicing comfort measures.

The outcome is to have parents with the ability to make informed choices. Birth partners will understand their support role in the birth space, keeping it peaceful. Families will understand the health and developmental benefits of breastfeeding. The goal is to have a healthier and more memorable birth as defined by the parents who can effectively advocate for their health, increase the numbers of positive postpartum health outcomes, and lower maternal mortality rates.
