Our Ubuntu Village For All continues to be overtaken by unhoused people. This is the home of New Mexico Women’s Global Pathways, a non-profit organization that is dedicated to helping people, including high-risk individuals in our community.
The training village continues to be an important resource for our community; however, unhoused people continue to vandalize the property and prevent access to the skills that are essential to the success of the families served at the property.
This includes current ongoing sewing activities that are essential for very high-risk individuals, including the unhoused community members—waterproof and beautifully crafted tote bags and pillows.
We seek funding assistance to secure and provide safety for all at-risk yet resilient populations in our communities, including the internally displaced people who need shelter and housing.
