Help Ensemble 126 Commission and Perform

Ensemble 126 launched their first major Composition Competition and premiered the winning composition by Sami Seif at the 2022 National Flute Association (NFA) Convention in Chicago. E126 has been invited back for the 2023 NFA Convention in Phoenix in August. Educational outreach and performance tours to Florida, Georgia, and Utah round out the season.

 

With support from the NFA's C.R.E.A.T.E. Competition Fund, Early Music America mini-grant, and community support, we are raising money to support future commissioned composers, recordings of new works, travel/lodging to perform and teach. Of course, we still need YOUR help to get there and contribute to the flute community!

 

New works further expand repertoire for the flute ensemble with an emphasis on international collaboration and conscious representation through inclusive programming and creation with extended/modern techniques and world flutes. We are excited about this journey of cooperation, outreach, and establishing new works for the flute ensemble!
