Hi, everyone! My name is Andrea. I am an animator and illustrator working in Austin, TX. I am an only child, both my parents are disabled, and because of Hurricane Maria they lost their health insurance. Every month, I support them financially every month by paying off their hefty medical bills. I work three jobs-- one full-time as a 3D Animator, one part-time as a warehouse worker, and a part-time artist taking commissions to help pay for all this.
It's rough, but I manage.
Today, I went to my car and found my backpack stolen.
I live in a gated community, but the gates in said community have been broken for quite a while and I let myself slip by leaving my backpack in my car.
The backpack contained four important items: my laptop, my drawing tablet, my wallet and my medicine. I've canceled the cards in my wallet (the idiot used it at a Walmart, so the detective is sure he will be ID'd), I've refilled my prescriptions, but the laptop and drawing tablet aren't as easily replaced.
I'm asking for help in replacing these two items. I use my laptop purely for work purposes, and my intuos tablet is also necessary for my art work on the side.
My birthday is next week, so while I have been thinking about upgrading for a long time... this kind of forces me to do so quicker.
I would really appreciate any help you could spare.
