Chris & Amber Engebretson have been living in South Carolina for the last 7 years with thier beautiful children, Emma (11) Makelah (8) Spencer (6) Savannah (6) Xander (4) Gunner (2) and Cooper (4 weeks).
Chris, at only 48 years old has been given an early diagnosis of early onset alzheimers. Chris is an amazing husband and father. He is quickly losing memory of his children's names and birthdays, days of the week, common words among other things and experience visual disturbances. The idea of losing memory of his wife and children is heartbreaking. With this diagnosis, he wants to spend every cognitive minute he has left with them.
Chris and Amber have made the decision to move back home to Oregon. They desperately need the support of their family and friends back home as they navigate his diagnosis. Once in Oregon, Amber will be returning to work full time so that Chris can be home with the kids.
Moving cross country is expensive. This is why we need your help! Any small bit you can give to helping them come home sooner, would mean so much to the Engebretson family.
