Endre Mato Celebration of Life

To everyone who may not yet have heard the news or know what is happening, our dearest Endre was taken away from us entirely too soon. He was found unconcious & placed on life support on Saturday (9/8) afternoon & was in an "end-of life" coma by Sunday. The doctors declared him officially brain dead on Monday, 9/10 at 12:28PM & he took his last breaths at 6:45pm. He was surrounded by his family, his mother, Marianna, father Stefan (Pisti), younger brother Ernest, Aunt Rose, cousin Miodrag/Neil (Liz), and cousin Zoran. We all stayed by his side as the life support was removed up until his very last breath. We are all beyond devastated at the tragic end to Endre's too short life.
Funeral plans are still being arranged, and any updates regarding locations and times will be posted here.
We have already had numerous emails, texts and messages from people asking how to help, So here it is....
You may not be aware, but due to Endre not having either medical or life insurance, there is a huge financial burden being put on his family. We are looking to help to cover the costs of both the funeral and burial and are hopeful that others can help to contribute towards this as well. One of the other items we are trying to raise money for is for a required autopsy, as well as transportation from Illinois to his home in Wisconsin. The last item is to help the family financially, as Endre helped to contribute some of his salary to their living costs.
