#ENDBSL Tysons Memorial Fund

CALLING ALL DOG LOVERS – Tyson was a victim of Breed Specific Legislation seized as a Pitbull type and SET ON FIRE by police before being given a destruction order at court and losing his life, but others are relying on us to save their lives.

The law has failed Tyson and many more. Please stand up for them and donate whatever you can spare. With the correct advice and legal support they can gain exemption status through the courts and live the life they deserve.

Please read Tysons story and donate to our memorial fund to help others have the funds in place to get the support they need. These beautiful souls cannot speak for themselves but with your help we can give them a voice at Court.

Tyson was seized and assessed by the Police who believed that he had the characteristics of a Pitbull type dog and therefore under Section 1 of the Dangerous Dog Act 1991 he would be a banned breed.

Tyson was seized by police at his home when only the minor daughter was present. Tyson became agitated and, was put in the garden, he got back in and police used an electric shield on him after spraying him with "biteback" deterrent. The spark from the shield ignited to his head and ear and chaos ensued as water was thrown on the flames and police tried to gain control to put the flames out.

Tyson had become so traumatised by the incident, he never recovered his confidence whilst in kennels and would not engage with anyone during his 18 months there and had never been treated for his wounds.

In court the police officer claimed he had NOT been trained never to use the shield in conjunction with the biteback. Despite this The judge gave a destruction order to Tyson.

We are currently raising funds for several more dogs seized as potential pitbull types so by setting up this fund we can allocate that money to help them.
