100% of what we make will go to the non profit WildEarth Guardians (WG) for their End the War on Wildlife campaign against Wildlife Services.
Right now we are living in the sixth mass extinction where dozens of species are going extinct EVERYDAY!! This “biological annihilation” of wildlife in recent decades means if we continue on this course there won’t be much of a future to look forward to.
What is Wildlife Services:
They are a government program funded by our tax dollars, that doesn’t serve wildlife. It actually wages a war on America’s wildlife mainly at the request of a minority of ranching and agricultural interests, killing millions of animals every year. Wildlife Services’ policies are not driven by modern scientific evidence, and their methods are also cruel, indiscriminate, and ineffective.
Why are we raising $ for WildEarth Guardians:
"Contributions to WildEarth Guardians’ End the War on Wildlife campaign go toward: lobbying counties to end their contracts with Wildlife Services; mounting legal challenges to Wildlife Services’ killing activities in key Western states; educating members of Congress about the War on Wildlife; publicizing Wildlife Services’ evil deeds to drum up public outrage; and building support in Congress for banning poisons on public land and reforming Wildlife Services after the 2020 election."
What we are doing:
Because humanity has wiped out 60% of the global wildlife population since 1970, we will be riding our bikes and trekking across lands to advocate for sentient beings and their inherent right to exist and thrive. We will be pushing our physical limits to raise awareness of this cause, starting by bikepacking a 500+ mile loop in Idaho. 2 weeks later, Jolly will be racing one of the most demanding ultra endurance mountain bike events in the world, the Colorado Trail Race. This 540 mile race has over 70,000 ft. of elevation gain, and he hopes to finish in under 6 days. Finally, after this race we will join up with another vegan adventure buddy to hike most of the difficult Sierra High Route, starting by climbing up the highest peak in the lower 48, 3 weeks later, ending near Yosemite.
We want to live in a world where compassion towards all species and our planet outshines our human centered choices. By raising $ for WG, we will help end Wildlife Services’ trapping, poisoning, and aerial gunning of native species on our public lands, shifting the paradigm to coexistence between humans and wildlife. This is their home after all, and their last refuge.
