End of life costs for Tina Podratz

Hi my name is Karla Kollmansberger and my family and I are asking for help to support Tina in her end of life choice. Here is Tina's story in her own words.....

My name is Tina. I am 43 years old. I was born with spina bifida which has left me confined to a wheelchair. I have spent the last 6 years on dialysis. It unfortunately has been a very difficult road (multiple hospital stays, various issues with my overall health/issues related to dialysis). I recently came to the difficult decision that I can no longer continue my medical treatments. This has led me to choose hospice/end of life care, which is proving to be a very costly venture. As hard as it is for me to swallow my pride and ask for help, I'm afraid I'm left with no other options then to do just that. I'm looking to raise $6000 for hospice/funeral costs. Anything extra raised will be donated to Davita as a thank you for keeping me alive for the past 6 years. I would like to thank my family and friends for their support during this very difficult decision.
