Charity run for LLS in memory of Sanata Lau

My family lost my dad, Sanata, to Leukemia in July 2021. His loss has left a hole in our hearts, and his memory is deeply cherished. As one of the most selfless and giving people we knew, we wanted to honor his memory by giving to an organization that works tirelessly to end blood cancers and support affected patients.

As anyone who has experienced cancer up close knows, it is a cruel disease that takes an enormous toll on patients and families alike, and in many cases ends lives much too soon. We pray that within our lifetimes, scientists will find a cure to this devastating disease, and we are compelled to help fund this effort or researching a cure and supporting patients.

Ben and I (Joanna) will run the Twin Cities Marathon in honor of my dad Sanata this year on Oct 2, and are raising money for LLS for the occasion.
