Encounters of Hope - 2020 Tour

Whether it is called Human Trafficking or slavery, it is a terrible fact that millions of people, mostly children, are victimized in the United States and across the world. Trafficking affects every community across the nation, hurting children and families. Our hearts break for these voiceless victims trapped in this evil activity. The children, parents and communities under attack need help. None of us can end it by ourselves, but all of us can do something.
Using creative arts, Chaddah Dance Company's production of Encounters of Hope brings awareness of Human Trafficking through beautifully choreographed dance accompanied by a powerful media presentation. This production takes you through true stories of the lives of victims of trafficking. You will also hear from Director Amy Pernie as she shares her heart for the victims in the United States and abroad. As part of each program, local organizations from the community are invited onto the stage to share their mission with the audience.
These groups offer training, rescue, comfort, shelter and rehabilitation to victims of trafficking in the local area. Following the program, hundreds of activated audience members take their first step to join in the fight to end trafficking and help the victims.
The Chaddah Dance Company is a team of dozens of dancers and faculty who have volunteered their weekends over many months to create and rehearse in order to perform in venues around the United States. Because of the importance of the content of the message, there has never been a charge for a performance whether it was local or involved traveling across the country. Over the years, the dancers and their families and a handful of other generous volunteers have covered all of the costs associated with the costumes, venues, props and travel. We are excited to share with you that Chaddah Inc is now filed as a non profit corporation in the state of Florida and has also submitted its documents with the IRS for tax exempt status! The 2020 include will kick off in Saginaw Michigan the first weekend in February.
Whether you are an individual or an organization, if you care about this issue, we welcome your support in the form of prayer and encouragement, any financial amount, large or small, invite us to your community to perform and simply share the news about Encounters of Hope in your personal and social networks.
