I dream of a new harp!

I'm Ben Bergeron and I'm 15 years old. I started playing guitar and mariachi music in the 2nd grade. Since then I have been a member of three mariachi groups and perform as often as I can. About a year ago, I started playing harp and now I want to make a music career with it. I love it. I practice several hours a day. I'm the youngest mariachi harpist in Tucson. Unfortunately, the harp I've been using is falling apart. I've ordered a new harp which is being made in Mexico at a cost of about $3,000 including shipping. It will be finished in about a month or two. I have been saving the money I make from performances but it's not very much. My parents are helping with what they can but times are tough and it will take us up to a year to finish paying it off. There are important music festivals coming up and it's very frustrating not being able to practice and sometimes play performances because the harp I use is so poor. I waste hours re-stringing and tuning it and I'm always having to buy new strings. It also has a crack in it that makes it sound bad and I can't practice as much as I'd like because I'm afraid of breaking it. I want to be the best musician I can be but it's very hard to do this with a harp that is so worn and doesn't sound professional. My teachers and other people have told me I'm a gifted musician, but I know I can be so much better with the right harp. What I'm asking for is an investment in my future.
