Custody battle for my son

My now "ex" girlfriend (whom I have a 10 year old son with) and I have split up.   I was previously a stay at home dad, and was working part time and using most of my time to devote to my son Jack.  We are now living apart, and I am starting the custody paperwork/hearing to gain split custody of my son.  Since we are not legally married, Minnesota grants the mother 100% legal and physical custody.  My goal is to gain 50/50 custody.  I am slowly gaining on my goal of $2000 to afford the lawyers retainer fee.  Please Donate IF you can, and share as much as you can.  Thanks all who have donated so far!
