Our beloved, Ramona Calix was ; a sister, mother, aunt, grandmother, friend, great-grandmother, sister in Christ, co-worker, and neighbor of many people. In all of those roles she was loyal, understanding, kind, dedicated, giving, honorable, responsible, helpful, honest, funny, and loveable.
She was good to many people and raised generations of the Cardenas-Caliz-Rodrigues Family.
There are not enough words to descrive the sorrow that we feel to have lost the matriarch of our family. She was strong and devine and still dreamed of doing so many things like going back to Honduras.
We take comfort in knowing that before all, she was a woman of God. She knew and honored her maker. She served him faithfully and lived her life in the image of him.
Many of you had the pleasure of knowing her and have shared your condolences and asked how you can help with her funeral funds. If you are able to you can donate through this campaing or via CashApp or Venmo at

We understand times are hard for many and we know some of you can't contribute. We ask that you cover our family in your prayers.
My mom is resting in eternal peace, besides her maker, where we always knew she would be.
