Medical Mission to Middle East

I am a surgeon residing in Florida who is going to Amman, Jordan next week with the LEAP Foundation & International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery to care for refugees injured in the Syrian conflict, as well as injured Palestinian and Iraqi civilians. I have been fortunate enough to be loaned to Doctors Without Borders for the next few weeks.

Please help provide funds for this good work. From what I understand from the surgical teams already in the area, they have never seen this much limb loss before - much of the damage is to children - and the work is overwhelming.  Supplies and finances are spread thin due to the recent conflict in Gaza.

I am leaving next week so I humbly ask that you donate today! The USA does not have many friends in this portion of the world, but progress and healing starts one person at a time. Please, help me to show them we care, and that we realize extremism and senseless violence is our common enemy. Bombs won't build bridges between peoples, but helping hands will.

ALL funds donated will be solely used for my supplies and mission costs associated with the LEAP Foundation and Doctors Without Borders.
